Work with me
-
Heritage
As performer and creator, I am passionate about tackling boundaries and stereotypes of cultural representation.
My current project, Weird Sisters, is part of an ongoing creative sequence that examines cross-cultural themes of grief, loss, immigration and identity. It also fuses Western classical and modern drama with chorus (communal voices) and ritualistic elements from Greek classical theatre and folk traditions. Weird Sisters first showcased in June 2022 in Wood Studio, LAMDA and is currently in pre-production for a new London run in 2024.

Innovation
As a storyteller, my interests are largely influenced by my exposure to neuroscience and AI: (i) re-imagining narratives at the interface of science and humanity, and (ii) using neurotechnology to expand access to theatre for audiences and performers (starting with people with disabilities).
I’ve collaborated with numerous NGOs, investors, ethics committees and academic institutions internationally to consult on benevolent AI and technology in the arts and across verticals; on risks, perks and policies. I am a visiting lecturer at Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, specializing in Neurotechnology, Art, Design and AI Ethics.
-
Teaching
I am a certified LAMDA Exams teacher and also tutor young learners and adults in drama and communication modules. My approach to teaching is highly informed by my theatre-making perspective: infused with physical devising, voice and breath work, ensemble building and with insights from systems neuroscience and the theory of embodied cognition.

Grants
I have extensive experience in fundraising and occasionally work with creative and research entities to support their funding applications. Previous arts and science projects were backed by grants including: the Wellcome Trust, the Colin Caro Fellowship, the Foundation for Education and European Culture, EU’s Horizon2020, the Old Centralians Trust, the Guarantors of the Brain Grant.
In May 2023, my work as producer was awarded the 2023 Keep It Fringe Grant, on behalf of the show Hayfever (Arcola Theatre, Space54 Edinburgh), a sponsorship mentored by the Honorary Chair of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, Phoebe Waller Bridge.
